Venue: Bernies Music Land, 381 Canterbury Rd, Ringwood VIC 3134
Bernies Music Land invites you to an exciting day exclusively for piano educators. Come and be inspired for the year ahead. Gain all the latest information and advice to ensure you have a successful 2020.

It's a smashing new program and we think you're going to love it!

The day begins with an insight into the new AMEB Theory Books with the series' author Andrew Raiskums. Joining us from interstate, Andrew will provide useful tips for piano teachers to get great theory results in the year ahead. This session is kindly supported by the AMEB, who will be on hand to answer questions and share news and tips for the year ahead.

Due to popular demand, we introduce a new session, The Educator's Guide to Pianos, giving you rare insight into how to assess and categorise, how to properly maintain and how to select pianos for teaching use.

You won't want to miss the exceptional session with Robert Chamberlain, who is the current Piano Coordinator at Monash Conservatorium. We asked Robert to share with us the top blunders he sees in university level performance, and his tips for avoiding these with your own students.

Your students will love your ideas from What's New: Print Music, with special guest, Matthew Nutley from Hal Leonard. We think you'll be fascinated with exceptional pipe organist, Chris Trikilis, presenting What To Do If You Are Asked To Play At Church. A popular feature of the day is the mini print music exhibition, where you can see all the latest releases from all the publishers, and take advantage of the 20% discount too.

During the lunch break, we will offer some mini exploration sessions including How to Play Hammond Drawbars and Discover the Classic Organ. Strap back in your seat for an action packed afternoon, with exciting news from examination boards, ANZCA and Trinity, plus an up-beat session with brilliant educator, Mark Gibson, guiding you to the right musical start with physical balance, coordination and rhythm.

Wrapping up our sensational day is acclaimed pianist, Alan Kogosowski. Don't miss his unique insights into hand positioning and posture for brilliant piano technique and outstanding endurance.

To make sure you have all the useful resources for the year, you will receive a showbag of information and booklets, samples, goodies and much, much more. This is an ideal activity for professional development, and a certificate of attendance will be provided.

All this will be presented on Monday 20th or Tuesday 21st January and each day will feature the full program.  Ticket price includes notes, lunch and refreshments. You won't want to miss this fabulous day, so please enroll now!
