Even with the smallest Classic C169 grand piano, we do not compromise. Partwise the identical action and large parts of the 'sound system' from our full-size concert grand is implemented. Combined with our extreme soundboard expansion in the lateral region, this creates a true giant among the small grand pianos that are effortlessly comparable to the larger grand pianos. This uniqueness can be heard and felt.

The Backframe Assembly of a Schimmel piano is solidly built and time tested. Together with the heavy cast-iron plate, it bears almost 18 tonnes of string tension. The Schimmel Keyboard and Action Assembly, designed by Schimmel and produced in Germany, features painstakingly optimised leverage ratios and reliability. Its dynamic modulation potential enables the finest nuances in sound.
