Bernies is excited to announce the addition of some amazing iconic Hammond home organs to our pre-loved line up. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s and well into the new millenium, Hammond were at the forefront of the home organ market. After a rigorous reconditioning process, we are thrilled to bring the following rare models to the market.
Composer Series 142,144 and 146
The Hammond Organ Models 142K2, 144K2, and 146K2 combine the classic “Hammond Sound” with advanced features like Harmonic Tonebars™, Pro Chord, and Fascinating Fingers®. The 144K2 and 146K2 add Philharmonic Strings® for orchestral tones, while the 146K2 offers expanded voices, Auto-Vari 48 rhythms, and a 3-channel amplification system. All models include Leslie® Speakers for acoustic animation and are designed for versatile, creative music-making.
Aurora Classic
The Hammond Aurora Classic is a feature-rich spinet organ designed for professional-quality sound and ease of play. It includes Philharmonic Strings for orchestral beauty, Melody Maker for realistic instrumental solos, and Fascinating Fingers for automatic arpeggios and accompaniment. Advanced features like Auto Vari 64 rhythm patterns, Harmonic Tonebars, and Poly-synthesis Percussion enhance creativity and versatility. With a three-channel sound system, Leslie speakers, and LSI multiplex synthesis technology, it delivers unmatched tone quality and reliability.
Commodore Console
The Hammond Commodore Organ is a high-performance console featuring two 61-note keyboards, 25 pedals, and advanced Multiplex Synthesis Technology. It offers the iconic “Hammond Sound” with harmonic tonebars, Philharmonic Strings, versatile percussion options, and rich pedal voices. Additional features include Auto Vari 64 rhythms, Easy-Play tools for beginners, and a three-channel sound system with Leslie speakers. Colonnade Console

Elegante Console

XE 200 Luxury Series
The Hammond XE-200 is a premium home organ that blends the rich, traditional Hammond sound with cutting-edge modern features. Designed in response to customer demand, this expandable keyboard system offers an impressive range of realistic instrumental voices. Despite its advanced electronic design, the XE-200 remains remarkably user-friendly, delivering powerful control and versatility that only the latest technology can provide.
SX Series
The Hammond SX Series is a line of digital organs introduced in the late 1980s by Hammond-Suzuki. These organs combine classic Hammond features (like drawbars and percussion) with modern digital technology. SX models typically have two 61-key manuals, a 13-note pedalboard, MIDI support, and built-in orchestral voices and rhythms. The SX-2000 is a standout model with an expanded orchestral section. The series is known for delivering authentic Hammond sound in a more compact, versatile format.
Super-B
The Hammond Super-B, launched in 1986, was Hammond’s first fully digital sampled organ. It included MIDI support and ROM cards for loading different instrument sounds. While innovative, it faced technical issues like phase cancellation and had mixed reviews on build quality. Despite this, it gained a following among hobbyists who now use it as a MIDI controller for virtual organs.
